The Word

Why are the most expansive hearts,
Limited by the conveyance of words,
There is only that interval of time,
To which the soul must be heard.

The birds are many over the land,
No wonder anymore the grace to fly,
The fifth day and this day be theirs,
And the sixth and the rest be mine.

Whether the raven parts the air lost,
Or the dove reveals a better way,
Still the sea never ceases to toss,
And the waves fall over the bay.

Beauty, the earth that brings forth life!
And the strength of toilers under sun,
Each sent forth into the waves,
May forge new paths to freedom.

So quick does warm summer turns frosty cold,
And faster the sun that cracks the ice,
Heed with caution the visions revealed,
Where does the dark turn to light?

It is the destiny, it is the will,
To raise the soul to the highest peak,
And from the first words e’er spoke,
We were blessed with life to be.

Love and Light

Love is finding the light

in someone’s soul,

and strengthening their own

from the light.

The spirit casts its shadow

on that which is loved.

We are light,

a flicker, a dance,

brightest in the darkest,

A lightening strike chance.

And we are love,

as the atom in a quantum field,

Or a magnetic, falling wave,

a water crystal pure as light,

a movement in the flame.

Empty Dreams

The box is full yet nothing left,

cystals and strange apparati

fill the dark, clear and pristine,

A sundry of forgotten dreams,

a space best filled with dark again.

What a shame to leave the treasure,

what a time to wait for none,

for many who seek search wrong,

lest they seek the rising sun.

Some must stumble through the dark,

do not pay the fares!

Danger looms in expediency,

Shadows won’t luminate tears.

When the sun doth come again,

And in this heart shed a ray of hope

a second or a days rejoice

Is quite enough to know,

infinite is found in that single grain,

The part represents the whole.

I saw right through the dark

I saw right through the dark,

the night so black it moved,

a shudder under cloudy sky,

a whisper in the gloom.

twas not the night that drew me near,

twas not the twisted dream,

it was a quest to higher worlds,

it was a tear in the seam.

An empty space to let light in,

a soul to fill it up,

like the shadow over limitless void,

before the Will erupts.

I saw a light through the dark,

a grey, a silvery sheen,

two orbs flickering, yet no other light,

a timeless, constant beam.

Within the ray, I saw the earth,

and all upon the land.

I saw the infinite stars above,

I saw the creator’s hand.

I saw right through the dark

when I met your eyes,

even in the the darkest night,

a soul may shed some light.
